What You will be responsible for:

  • Aid the lead technician with installs, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial/industrial clients. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems
  • Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer
  • Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
  • Participate in company provided training opportunities on the latest industry technology
  • Identify, report and educate client on potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services)
  • Come in every day eager to learn and develop new skills

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Mechanically minded individual wanting to learn the HVAC service
  • Be able to learn by observation and hands-on experience
  • Follow routine verbal and written instruction
  • Have effective communication skills with coworkers, management, and customers
  • Be open to learning new things and applying them quickly
  • Must be able to background and MVR screening, drug test, and physical
  • Must be willing to work afterhours and occasional weekends and holidays
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to perform regular manual labor
  • Basic computer skills
  • Completion of an accredited HVAC program preferred
  • At least 1 year of HVAC experience highly preferred 
  • EPA Certification
